my 1st january

last night was great...
surrounded myself with loved ones...with
the boom-ing of the fierworks...
the screaming...
the laughter...
all that somehow helps me soothe this ache-y feeling i held within...
life is no bed of roses i've said...
and it never will be one...
be contented with what we have...
and that's that...

so goodbye '05 and make way for '06...
throw the all habit out and invite the good ones...
bury the past and unearth the future...
